Over the last number of seasons Terenure College RFC Mini Rugby section has grown substantially with over 400 players registered.   

Mini Rugby is open to both Boys and Girls of ages 5 through to 13. Training takes place every Sunday morning commencing at 9.45am running through to 12.30pm. Because of the large numbers start times vary between each age group and these times will be listed under Training on the mini rugby pages.

In Terenure we have a commitment to good fun and good rugby provided in a friendly, family orientated environment. We also organize two underage tours each season and this has proved to be a great success not just for the players, but also the parents who have developed many great friendships.     

    
Our ethos at all levels is to train for fun, play matches and festivals to win. Mini rugby is a specially designed approach to rugby that introduces boys and girls to the key aspects of the game in a structured and safe manner.

Children play in groups from U5 to U13, attaining new skills and gaining a wider appreciation of the game as they progress from age group to age group.

Just as important, children learn about the camaraderie and the philosophy of rugby, making new friends from a wide range of schools and backgrounds.
